Bringing home a Yorkshire Terrier puppy is an exciting experience, and at Enchanted Acres Yorkies, we're here to make the process simple, enjoyable, and stress-free from start to finish.

Step 1: Find the Puppy That Steals Your Heart

The first step is finding the puppy you feel a connection with.

Many families spend hours looking through photos of adorable Yorkie puppies, unable to make a decision. Then suddenly, one little face appears on the screen, and something just clicks. You can't stop looking at that puppy.

We've heard countless families tell us that's exactly how they found their newest family member. If that happens to you, it's probably a good sign you've found "the one."

Our available puppies are posted on both the Enchanted Acres Yorkies website and our Facebook page. Because our puppies often find homes quickly, we recommend contacting us as soon as you've made your decision.

Step 2: Reserve Your Puppy

Once you've found your puppy, visit our Contact Us page and reach out to Bob or Patti.

You can call, text, or email us with any questions. We're happy to answer them and help you through the process.

To reserve your puppy, we require a $500 refundable deposit. We purposely make the deposit refundable because we understand that life happens and circumstances can change unexpectedly.

We accept deposits through:

Zelle
Personal check (provided there is enough time for the check to clear)

The remaining balance is due in cash at pickup.

If your puppy is being delivered, the remaining balance must be paid before your puppy leaves our home.

What You Can Expect From Us

Once your deposit has been received, we'll send you a receipt via text message for your records.

One of the most exciting parts of the waiting period is watching your puppy grow. Every weekend we'll send you updated pictures—and often videos—so you can see your little one developing week by week.

Occasionally our weekends become unusually busy, and updates may arrive on Monday or Tuesday instead, but we work hard to keep our puppy families informed throughout the process.

Why We Wait Until 10 Weeks

At Enchanted Acres Yorkies, our puppies go to their new homes at 10 weeks of age or older.

We believe this extra time makes a tremendous difference.

During these final weeks, puppies continue learning valuable social skills from their mother and littermates. They learn how to play appropriately, communicate with other dogs, and develop confidence that helps them become well-adjusted companions.

We spend time with our puppies every day, but there simply isn't a substitute for the lessons they learn from their mother. Those extra weeks help produce happier, healthier puppies with wonderful temperaments.

Puppy Pickup Day

This is our favorite day—the day you finally meet the newest member of your family!

We typically meet at a McDonald's, as they're easy to find and provide a convenient meeting location for everyone.

During pickup, we'll spend approximately 30 minutes going over everything you need to know before taking your puppy home.

You'll receive:

Your health guarantee and purchase contract
Vaccination records and future vaccination schedule
Microchip registration information
Hypoglycemia care instructions
Helpful puppy care information
A gift bag with toys and a blanket with mother's scent
A starter bag of Royal Canin puppy food

We'll also answer any questions you have to ensure you feel confident caring for your new Yorkshire Terrier puppy.

The remaining balance is due in cash before your puppy leaves with you.
